Carpe Vitae is a Latin expression meaning “seize the day.” That is also our invitation: enjoy life, toasting it with fine wines.

Carpe Vitae was born with the ambition of being a great wine, capable of providing moments of pleasure, sharing, and conviviality.

In this unique wine, we sought to reflect the generosity and resilience of the vine, shaped by the harshness of hot summers and the dryness of the soils of Casal da Coelheira.

We want it to be the authentic expression of Portuguese grape varieties, with distinct aromas and flavors, always preserving its authenticity and originality.

We do not reveal the grape varieties—not because it is a secret, but because we believe that this wine should be appreciated for its essence and not just for the technique. This freedom will also allow winemakers to explore new creations in the future.

Just as a painter does not always use the same colors to create his great works, we also desire this flexibility and versatility for future Carpe Vitae harvests.

The first edition is limited to 1,490 numbered bottles, the result of careful craftsmanship, which also extends to the packaging.

We do not intend it to be just a wine for exceptional moments.

Rather, we want every moment it is opened to become exceptional.
