At Casal da Coelheira, tradition and innovation go hand in hand. Classic winemaking methods are combined with the most advanced oenological technologies, giving rise to wines designed to satisfy the most demanding palates.
This perfect balance between ancestral knowledge and modernity has been the cornerstone of our philosophy.
The winery, preserving the typical architecture of Ribatejo, dates back to the first third of the 20th century. Inside, there is a charming central courtyard, surrounded by whitewashed walls that reflect the authenticity of our history.
At the end of the 1980s, the couple behind the rabbit farm began a process of profound renovation: modernizing the winery, introducing new technologies, and selecting the grape varieties that best reflect the unique character of the region.
Despite the modernization, we remained steadfast in our fundamental principle: wine is born in the land. It is here that we uphold, day after day, our commitment to quality, sustainability, and authenticity in the Tejo region.
